- Verified legal status (registered nonprofit, licensed professional, or legitimate business entity)
- Mission alignment with the Institute's values and the Seven Pillars framework
- No history of exploitative practices, predatory lending, or participant harm
- Clear, documented scope of services — we know what they do and do not provide
- Named point of contact and responsiveness to participant feedback
- Willingness to enter a written referral agreement when appropriate
- Commitment to participant dignity, confidentiality, and trauma-informed practice
Honest status: The Hope & Opportunity Center directory is under construction. Resource categories are defined. Formal partner vetting has not yet begun. No partners are confirmed. Categories and vetting standards are published here so that the framework is transparent before the directory is populated.
