An advisory council is not a governing board. It is a circle of trusted voices who lend their expertise, networks, credibility, and wisdom to help Lorinthian's House grow with integrity. Advisory Council members do not bear fiduciary responsibility or governance authority — they serve as strategic sounding boards, community ambassadors, and sector-specific advisors.
Lorinthian's House is building an Advisory Council because women's restoration is not a solo mission. It requires the collective wisdom of leaders across sectors — business, healthcare, faith, philanthropy, housing, government, education, media, and community life.
Advisory Council members serve renewable terms and are selected through an invitation process. Lorinthian's House welcomes expressions of interest from qualified leaders aligned with the mission.

Executives, HR leaders, and corporate decision-makers who understand that women's workforce wellness is a strategic priority. Corporate advisors help Lorinthian's House connect with banks, hospitals, universities, and employers who want to sponsor women's restoration programming.
Healthcare & Wellness
Physicians, mental health professionals, wellness practitioners, and healthcare administrators who provide guidance on how Lorinthian's House programming complements — and does not replace — clinical care. Advisors help maintain ethical boundaries and appropriate referral pathways.

An Invitation to Serve
Lorinthian's House is accepting expressions of interest for its Advisory Council. Ideal candidates are recognized leaders in their sector who carry a personal or professional commitment to women's restoration and want to see the mission represented with excellence in Raleigh and beyond.
Service on the Advisory Council is voluntary and non-fiduciary. Members are invited to serve renewable terms based on alignment, expertise, and capacity.
Express InterestImportant: Lorinthian's House is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation. Governance is provided by the Board of Directors. The Advisory Council is a non-governing advisory body. Advisory Council participation does not constitute an employment relationship, board membership, or fiduciary responsibility. Members serve at the invitation of the organization and may resign or be released at any time. No compensation is provided for Advisory Council service.
Lorinthian's House provides spiritual education and restoration programming. It does not provide medical care, mental health treatment, diagnosis, therapy, or crisis intervention.
