Lorinthian's House Launches No Woman Rebuilds Alone
The Raleigh-based nonprofit introduces an institutional commitment to community-based restoration anchored by mentorship, healing circles, workshops, retreats, and a documentary series now in development.
RALEIGH, NC
Lorinthian's House today announced the launch of No Woman Rebuilds Alone, an institutional initiative that establishes community-based restoration as a core operating principle. The initiative recognizes that lasting rebuilding happens within relationships — mentorship, peer circles, facilitated workshops, and retreats — and commits the organization to embedding these community structures across every program it offers.
"Rebuilding is not a solo act," the organization stated. "Women heal in the presence of others who see them, believe them, and stand with them. No Woman Rebuilds Alone is an institutional promise that every woman who steps into our programming will find accompaniment — not isolation."
The Community Pillars
No Woman Rebuilds Alone is structured around four community pillars, each designed to provide a distinct form of accompaniment at a specific stage of the rebuilding journey:
- Mentorship Network — Trained mentors who walk alongside women through the Rebuild OS stages, offering guidance, accountability, and steady presence. Mentors receive standardized training aligned with the Seven Pillars of Restoration.
- Healing Circles — Facilitated small-group gatherings where women share, process, and grow in community. Circles follow structured curricula tied to specific OS stages and are led by trained facilitators.
- Workshops and Retreats — Immersive experiences that provide intensive rebuilding work in a community setting. Workshops focus on skill-building and practical application; retreats prioritize deep healing and restoration.
- Community Partnerships — Formal relationships with local organizations, referral partners, and housing stability partners that extend the network of accompaniment beyond the Institute's walls.
Documentary Series in Development
As part of the No Woman Rebuilds Alone initiative, Lorinthian's House is developing a documentary series that follows women at different stages of the rebuilding journey. The series will capture the real, unscripted experience of restoring the inner girl — the setbacks, breakthroughs, and the relationships that make rebuilding possible.
The documentary series is in early development. The organization is currently assembling a production team and identifying participants who have given informed, written consent to share their stories. The series will be released through the Institute's media channels and distributed to public media platforms.
The documentary is designed to serve multiple purposes: public education about women's restoration, a record of the rebuilding process for the field, and a resource for women who may recognize their own experience in the stories shared.
How the Initiative Fits the Institute's Architecture
No Woman Rebuilds Alone operates across the Institute's departments. Mentorship and circles are delivered through the Center for Women's Rebuilding. The documentary series is produced through Institute Press and distributed via the Media Center. Community partnerships are coordinated through the Raleigh Rebuild initiative and the Public Lyceum.
The initiative aligns with the Seven Pillars of Restoration, with particular emphasis on Safety (creating spaces where women feel safe enough to be honest), Love (relearning that belonging is a birthright), and Power (recovering voice and agency within a supportive community).
